FunDza Literacy Trust

FunDza is getting young South Africans reading and writing for pleasure.

The more that young people read and are exposed to text, the better their language skills and the wider their vocabulary. FunDza produces accessible and exciting short stories for South African teens and young adults. Each week there is a new short story that is released in serialised format in FunDza's 'mobi-library'. FunDza is available on computers/tablets/smartphones with Internet access; and it is available on Mxit. FunDza is designed to have low data costs and to be freely accessible to as wide a readership as possible. Thousands connect with FunDza on a daily basis.
