FunDza.mobi houses a library of exciting local stories, blogs and articles that will hook young people into reading. Every week there is a new professionally written short story, and other new material appears daily. The material is aimed at readers of 13 years and upwards, and there is a treasure trove of stories to use in class, or articles about inspiring South Africans or topical issues as a basis for interesting comprehensions.

FunDza.mobi also has open online courses aimed at promoting comprehension and developing vocabulary. Readers can sign up, read texts and then answer multiple choice comprehension questions. They get results and explanations immediately. Some courses are closely CAPS aligned, such as transactional writing, essay writing, and language courses, while others are more thematic and general in nature. At any time three courses are available.

FunDza.mobi also publishes readers' work in the 'Fanz' section - so young people get to have their work read by a real audience. The work is edited to remove language mistakes, and readers get feedback to help them improve their writing.
