Rockets as a classroom topic generates exciting classroom opportunities for hands-on experimentation. Background information about the history of rockets and basic rocket science are provided. The activities and demonstrations are suitable for learners at many grade levels and support science, mathematics and technology. A matrix is included suggesting grade levels for activities. The material and tool requirements are simple. A few of the bigger projects require the design and construction of a launch platform.
