WCED has been collaborating with MUSA , a volunteer group involved in socio-economic development, in youth leadership and resilience Development Programme. One of the projects is exam support and our FET SCPs are presenting on ITV (a community TV station) on Saturday mornings and afternoons. Western Cape Environmental Education
A suite of Environmental Education Resources, also known as ESD Resources, has been developed by an intergovernmental platform in the region, the Western Cape Environmental Education Forum, also known as EE Friends. Resources have been also sourced from other Teacher Support Institutions and Organizations in Southern Africa. Resources may be accessed for teacher and learner support in the classroom, as well as resources for outdoor environmental education programmes offered by various organisations that seek to add value to the formal education.
