Regulations relating to disciplining, suspension and expulsion of learners at public schools in the Western Cape

These regulations provide guidelines on due process when implementing disciplinary measures by school governing bodies and principals. The guidelines include how to inform the learner and parents concerned, particulars and documents they are entitled to, the date, time and venue of the hearing, the right to representation, to right to cross examine, informing the learner and parents of the outcome, and the appeal process.
