In unit 2 we unpack the Meanings of Genocide and Holocaust. We focus on understanding the terms prejudice, stereotyping and scapegoating – and how they are used to separate isolate and humiliate members of an “out” group. We then analyse Nazi ideology and understanding of race and the fact that the Nazi ideology is based on the notion of different types of blood.
