In the future as NASA plans for long-duration missions to the moon. Lunar plant growth research will form an important part of space exploration. NASA scientists anticipate that astronauts may be able to grow plants on the moon. The plants could be used to supplement meals. Learners help to solve the problems of growing plants on the moon. They design, build and evaluate lunar plant growth chambers. In a 4 MB PDF file, the lesson plans, preparation and resources are given.
