Table Mountain National Park: a tribute to one of the world's natural wonders
The park runs from Signal Hill in the north, through Lion's Head, Table Mountain, Constantiaberg, Silvermine, the mountains of the southern Peninsula, terminating at Cape Point. The park contains Table Mountain, as the most well-known and recognised of South African natural landmarks. Tourist attractions are the Table Mountain Cableway, Boulders Beach, which contains a large colony of African penguins and Cape Point. The park is managed by South African National Parks. The property is included as part of the UNESCO Cape Floral Region World Heritage Site.
