About Ms. Michelle Delport:

Michelle Delport is a dedicated educator and leader with a deep passion for improving the quality of education in rural communities. With over 25 years of experience in education, including classroom teaching, remedial support, school leadership, and district-level advisory roles, she brings both expertise and empathy to every aspect of her work. She currently serves as the Deputy Chief Education Specialist for the Foundation Phase in the West Coast Education District, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting schools, developing teachers, and driving curriculum excellence across the district Michelle holds an Honours Degree in Inclusive Education graduating cum laude and had her academic assignment on teacher training presented internationally. She is currently completing her Master’s in Educational Leadership. She is committed to empowering under-resourced schools and believes in the transformative power of education. Michelle’s heart remains with those who teach—and with the learners they serve.
