About Bonita Goetham

Bonita Goetham is a Foundation Phase teacher, department head, Subject Advisor, Deputy Chief Education Specialist.

She is currently the Chief Education Specialist for FP Mathematics at the Department of Basic Education.

She has a Junior Primary Specialist and a Senior Primary Mathematics & Science teaching qualification; a bachelor’s degree in education and an Honour’ s degree in Inclusive Education.

Her drive is simple, she wants teachers to teach Mathematics for understanding and she believes that Mathematics has to be enjoyable and engaging.
