Fatima joined the board of directors of Michelin Tyre Company South Africa in 2022. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry and served as a Senior First Officer at SAA. She is the founder and executive manager of the Sakhikamva Foundation which is involved in promoting the aviation sector amongst the underserved communities.

She is also the founder of EduTech company, STREAM laboratory which focuses on teacher training and technology driven product development in education.

Her working career started as a Forensic Toxicology and Narcotics Specialist at the National Health and South African Police Services Forensic team respectively. Fatima serves as director and trustee on several boards related to the Aviation and Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) fields.
