Guidelines to assist schools during the Learning Recovery Period

COVID-19 placed immense and unprecedented responsibilities on teachers during the pandemic, and the educational after-effects continue to make demands on their professional expertise. These guidelines have been prepared to support teachers and education managers as they guide schools and office-based educators in the Learning Recovery Period. They indicate the ways in which the education system will support teachers to meet the challenges they face in the classroom, and what support will be provided by the School Management team as well as district officials. The guidelines are generic and are aimed at teachers in all phases, and across all subjects, in all schools, including schools for learners with special education needs.
